ATLANTIC CONCRETE WASHOUT

ATLANTIC CONCRETE WASHOUT provides a safe, reliable and EPA recognized and LEED compliant product. Not only does the concrete washout bin and/or the paint washout pan provides a great service but protects the environment from hazardous chemicals in concrete washout that can have a pH level of nearly 12. These levels are the
equivalent to liquid Drano and may be considered a corrosive. Their concrete washout bins have the ability to hold between 50 and 100 mixer washouts. In addition you may qualify for points using the MR Credit 2.1 under the Green Building LEED program when using their products. Also, if you click on this link it will direct you to a short video that talks about the usage of washout containers and the impact on the environment. Giving Thanks

Our chapter held its 1st Annual Apprentice Appreciation Nights on November 6th & 7th with a great reception fro our students. Due to a rousing response from our very generous members we were able to raffle off an abundance of wonderful gifts, tools, gift cards and even a four-pack of tickets to a Tampa Bay Lightning Game. Pizza and sodas were offered prior to classes. And, again, our students were quite grateful. It is our plan to schedule the same event for our 2008-2009 class.

In addition, we would like to take this opportunity to thank all the charitable members, vendors and suppliers who donated. Every T-shirt, gift card and tape measure was met with sincere gratitude.
